Pride:

Pride is excessive love of one's own excellence. A less atrocious kind of pride is that which impel one to make much of oneself unduly and without sufficient warrant. This may happen, either because a man regards himself as the source of such advantages as he may discern in himself, or because he attributes to himself gifts, which he has not or, finally, because even when these are real he unreasonably looks to be put ahead of others.

Prejudice:

Prejudice is an unproven preconception of a person, place or things for the way it acts, looks, or even who or what it is involved with. It is considered taboo for persons to publicly express their prejudices. Since prejudice and discrimination each contribute to the origin and growth of the other, removing discrimination can reduce prejudice, and a change in discriminatory institutions usually leads to a change in attitudes.

Anger:

Nobody likes to be near him for he makes the worst companion in the world. His greatest flaw lies in his inability to control his temper and he is someone who makes no attempts to do so either. When he gets angry, his volatile mood swings from one end to another. A moment you see him smiling, the next moment you see him snarling at someone.

Hurt:

Some had tears in their eyes while others were smiling and trying to cool as to try to calm down the relative. I could see that their smiles were fake, in fact, they were just putting on brave fronts. Deep within they were probably crying just like the rest of them. Perhaps they felt in some ways they were responsible.
